Development
 
Development is headed by Development Manager Thomas Lauridsen. Besides an ongoing development of PKC's existing products, PKC's development team handles the development and initial manufacturing of novel customer specific Dextran derivatives and other carbohydrate-based chemicals.
 
The PKC development team has experience with many factors of Dextran chemistry as well as carbohydrate chemistry in general which enables PKC to offer customized solutions.
 
Examples of variable parameters are:
  • Molecular weight
  • Counter ion
  • Degree of substitution
  • Chemical substituents
  • Cross-linking
  • Change of solvents or additives during the manufacturing process
  • Lot sizes and special packing 


The need for documentation depends on the application for the product. PKC is able to service our customers according to their specific needs. In this respect, a customer specific product can be of either technical grade or manufactured according to cGMP.
